I posted this in both the stereo and general discussion forums but had no response. So here goes:

It's actually for my wife's Sunfire, but the stereo is similar enough to the 4th Gen Firebirds that I figured I'd ask here.

All the stereo repair places I call are more than happy to repair, but won't well parts over the counter (no thanks.....I know how to solder).

Do any of you guys have a source or at least know the voltage of the small white bulbs used to backlight the orange display screen on stock Pontiac stereos? I've already dissasembled it and can't find anything that matches at Radio Shack.

Any ideas?

 

Your gonna need to get that from an electronics specialty place if you lucky or from a busted radio. I would just get a new radio off ebay.
