what brand for longtube headers ?

which is a good brand that will add a good amount of HP/TQ ?

i don't want some really expensive ones.. i don't want to impress anybody with looks or sound.

what else is needed to put them on... y-pipe ? what brand ? or just chop up the stock tubing to make it fit the new LT's ?

Pace Setters and Flowtechs have good bang for your buck (both are under $350 uncoated I believe) And I have heard they sound great and perform great! I am waiting on my Flowtechs at the moment and will tell you how it goes after I get them installed.. thuogh that might not be for a while, hehe. 2-3weeks.

Good luck on finding what you want man.

Jet-Hot LTs are great. They perform like any LT should and are inexpensive. $500 coated if you get them during a GP here on the board. If not they are like $530 or so. Hooker headers are also good and perform just like the Jet-Hots. The LT1 Jot Hots and Hooker headers are the same thing just the Jet Hots are thicker, BUT I dont know if that same thing applies to the LS1 version of their headers.
