What brake pads should I get?

I went with EBC Green Stuff Pads.

Click under autos and check them out. Very little dust, higher performance and easy on the rotors. I do a little track/road racing and wanted something that would not fade as fast as the stockones. Also very little dust off them is a great plus IMO. Some others will like Hawk Pads. Or carbon metalic at your parts store. I don't remember what vendor carries the EBC's, but they are hear at one of our vendors sites. Also you may want to post under the road racing section.>>>>>>>>

"Minimal" dust from PF Z Pads? That's not been my experience (on my former car, a '97 SS). My wheels would go from bright white to solid black in less than a week of daily driving. The fronts were awful. Now, if you don't mind the tradeoff, they STOP. NOW. Even in the wet. I loved that about them, but hated the dust. My '97 was literally unsafe to drive in the rain before I put the PF Z pads on. I tried PF's standard street pads first, but they were no improvement over stock.
Also, the PF pads had a spongy, squirmy quality about them under heavy pedal pressure that I didn't like. I never was able to bleed the brakes enough to get a hard pedal, and recently read where someone else noticed a softer pedal on PF pads. I want some pads with much more friction than stock for my 2002 SS, higher heat capability, and a rock-hard pedal. Threads I've read point to Hawk HPS for these qualities.

LIke I said, everyone has their experiences and that's mine. Also, excellent pads for $40/set

Well, I just got done installing front cross-drilled/slotted rotors and PFZ pads on my Firebird. Since the pads and braking system are way different than on my 94Z, I'll see how they dust and report back in this topic in a week.
But, they still kick *** on stopping ability and lack of brake fade from what I've already experienced
