Weird bump stop

I was trying to do the bump stop mod, but I kept getting a reading of 1.95 ohms. I tested the resistance from the blue wire to a ground with the tps plugged in. What the hell? I had the voltmeter set at 20k ohms. What am I doing wrong?

Ohms? I know one method involves looking for a voltage level between ground and, I think, the blue wire- something approaching 4.6 or 4.7v, if I remember correctly.

Yes, Jay is correctly. You need to set your meter to volts, not resistance.

The stock voltage rating at WOT is usually between 4.20-4.30v. The SES light will trip at 4.75v or higher. Try to get between 4.65-4.70v to be safe. I set mine at 4.66v with no problems.
