Water temps

Just curious what your water temps are with a stock thermostat. Mine is ALWAYS at 210*, but I know that some years didn't really have that accurate of temp guages. BTW, I searched and didn't find much. Thanks.

Re: Water temps

I thought we had 192* stats because you can buy 180* and 160* in the aftermarket. If you scan your PCM, you'll notice that with the stock fan settings, your coolant temp will stay in the mid-190*s on the highway and around town, it can get up into the high 220*s low 230*s depending on traffic. If I remember correctly, the stock fan settings turn on the first fan in the 220*s and the second in the low 230*s. Kinda see why they put a dummy guage in. +/- 40*s would freak me out a little if I didn't know any better.
