Water Pump on 98 Z

I have a 98 Z that i'm replacing the water pump on, everything seemed to be going along fine until i got all the bolts out and the pump still wont come off Anybody know of a good write up on swapping the pump? Maybe there is something i missed when unbolting it.

there are 6 bolts that hold it to the block aslong as you have got the heater hoses off the left side of it and the radiator hose off of the thermostat housing you take out the 6 bolts and i t should come off no tricks to it or anything did it on my 98 not to long ago just had to take the idler pulley off so i could torque that one bolt behind it when i put it all back together.

i'll have to count how many i got out when i get home. I dunno how i'll get it off if they are all out lol, it would pain me to have to take a crowbar to my engine.

well, if the seal really is stuck on there and you do have all the bolts out, don't use a crowbar. You could try a dead blow hammer with a plastic face so it wouldn't mar anything, and use something like a flat scraper to wedge into the gasket so you could loosen it up. good luck!
