Exclamation warped rotors (warrantey)

i know ls1 f-bodies have problems with the rotors warping pretty early and mine were no different. i went to a local dealership and asked if they were covered and he told me they are only covered up to 1 year and 20000 kms (i think that 12000 miles) is this true or is the dealership bs'n me? my car has 28000kms on it and is 2 1/2 years old.

thanks

Warranteed or not get some good rotors. Good cheap one's are Autozone's. I believe there only $39 for each. If you got the $$ get Baer's crossdrilled and slotted. There about $450 for the fronts.

Most warranties won't cover warped rotors, mine didn't at least. They are considered a part of general wear and tear like brake pads or tires. I warped my rotors and replaced the fronts with Autozones. Then I figured out the rears were warped too so I just ordered some slotted and drilled rotors for the entire car ($350). If you would like my front Autozone rotors let me know, they are not warped but I will check and make sure for you.

i suggest staying away from slotted and cross drilled simply because its the dumbest thing ever.
