The duals would be much less raspy.

True duals absolutely own the sh*t out of the loudmouth. GMMG and true duals own all.

The true duals will be louder but will sound better and not have the rasp of the long tube headers/no cats/loudmouth combo.

Question

If you put true duals on your car, will it actually sound like a real sports car or will it have that "trailer park" V8 tune?

another thing to consider is that the interior resonance may be a bit annoying on any long trips with the duals. this is because the sound will reverberate under the car a bit. where the LM will push the sound back and therefore not bounce off the pavement and the underbody (causing reverb).

duals will sound better in general though

i heard that if i cut the resonator out of teh lm and weld in a bullet that will take away some rasp? i think i may just go with the lm with bullet and maybe later down the road go with true duals, i dont think that ill gain a significant amount of et with the true duals over lm with a mildly modded car.

TSP has that system in aluminized if you're watching your penny's.

It comes w/better tips than the LM too.

BlueCamaro...

To reduce interior sound levels...you'll wanna run the pipes out the back (more cost though) or have the turndowns pointed towards the sides of the car rather than at the ground. This prevents the sounds from bouncing off the payment, as already said, and also doesn't allow the turndowns to kick up dust onto your car, and I PROMISE you'll notice the excess dust that ends up on your car with turndowns.

I also have been told a "X" pipe gives you a mellower sound than a "H" pipe.

Bullet mufflers are pretty loud but not really raspy on true duals. Or you could do like I want and get Magnapacks I hear they sound great.

P.S Every true dual 4th gen I've heard...both in person and from sound clips...sounds BADASS!

Those Magnapacks are crap. Just expensive glass packs.

Did you notice the "All Universal MagnaPacks have a 2.25" Core." at the bottom of their tables? That means you can run 2.5" or 3" inlet/outlet and still get the nice restriction of 2.25" pipes. Thats a 23" long bottle neck. Ya, thats gotta be good for performance.

LMAO!!

yeah right!

There are headers with smog provisions, but they are not smog legal since it forces the cats to be moved and that is not permitted.

and.........True Duals dominate all!
(mine are in the mail right now )
