Post VIN Breakdown

Does anyone know where I can find a VIN# Breakdown?

I need to know what part of the VIN signifies a car as a WS6, if its even in the VIN. Is it?

I don't believe the VIN will tell you if its a WS6 or not. I know we use the VINs on our SS's so that SLP can tell us the production number..but the VIN itself doesn't say its an SS.

Here's the breakdown of what the VIN will tell you:

Production Sequence
Assembly Plant
Engine Code
Restraint System
Body Type (i.e. coupe or convertible)
Carline Series
Carline Code (i.e. F-body)
Make
Manufacturer
Country

Hope this helps you some...
