Post Used Loudmouth

Is there any problems I would have with buying a used loudmouth for my 2002 Z? I can't afford a new one right now but I found a good deal on a used one. They are stainless steel right? So it shouldn't be worn out. Also, is the loudmouth system the same for all ls1 F-bodies? The SLP website has them listed as fitting '98 to '01. Thanks a ton.

It should be fine unless he lives up north where there is alot of ice on the roads when it snows...but I am willing to bet that other than normal dings and scratches from being an exhaust component it should be fine. I have bought used parts before, especially exhaust parts and they worked out fine. Good luck and ask for pics and references before buying.

Yeah dont worry, i put a loudmouth on my 02 TA its the same thing. There are a lot of companies out there that haven't listed their products for the 2002's yet but for the most part all the products are for the 98's and up.
