There is a deffinate power gain and response gain..These unit's flow just under 1000cfm of airflow..and the stock ones flow about 750ish...so a 250cfm gain wide open and at 25% throttle is flows over two times the amount of stock..so yes there is a nice response and power gain
Check this out..A buddy of mine has a 98 a4 3.23 convertable z28..at speed world the best he ever got was 14.22@98 mph stock.We added a TSP lid,smooth bellow,my throttle body,free ram air,tb coolant bypass and a cut out... the very next night he ran a 13.27@106 mph
I was so freakin shocked it was scary..I told him that he was probably going to run in the 13.8-13.7 range after the mods at like 101-102...damn was I wrong lol..So the TB will deffinatly provide an improvement!
