Arrow Two air/fuel ratio gauges?

Anyone use two air/fuel ratio gauges. I know these are more for looks, so I am wondering if some of you have two. I have seen two used and it looks pretty nice. Also, two make sense due to having two O2 sensors, right?

You could use 2 if you are using a dual gauge pod and had no plans on putting another gauge in the other pod. If you are planning on doing that, it is better to put a switch to switch between banks when you want and use 1 gauge. It's all personal opinion.

Yes, I am going with a triple gauge pod. So two air fuels wills be ok. I was just wondering if anyone else did this. I am not totally sure what the third gauge will be just yet. Thanks for the replys.

And just give me a call, when you want to go look at cars, before 2:30 of course due to work at 3:00 mon, tues and wed. Are you planning on trading in or just buying?

i would really recommend against 2 a/f gauges...its a waste of money. if you have a proper tune, one is plenty and if you ask me, too much. 2 is surely too much. what do you have on your car now and what do you plan to do to it soon?

Well ya, if you're running a stock motor, but if you're going to be doing anything like forced induction, or just any serious engine work it can be useful for tuning.

2 on the other hand are definately going overboard...

if you have the proper tune on your car, you dont need it. this gauge is in no way a necessity. you want to put a useful gauge in your car...there are plenty of others.

Nope, not useful at all. Stock 02 sensors do not have the sample rate required to get a safe tune. The only way to tune safely is with a wideband 02 sensor.

The stock 02s may tell you you're going lean, but by that time you probably have already done the damage.

Just an Idea

I am going to get a Temp gauge for mine, so I will have a true temprature reading instead of our new idiot guage in the 99+ Fbods. Not sure what I am going to do for the other gauge. Any suggestions!!

Well, here's the deal guys. I have already got a good deal on two air/fuel gauges. These two are going into a triple A-pillar pod with a third gauge which has been decided on. The order will be air/fuel (top), water temp (middle) and air/fuel (bottom). All gauges are the autometer Ultra-lite series. I will try to post pics once i have all the pieces and once they are installed. Bare with me for a bit, some are on order or are in the mail. thanks for the comments though. plus its original and different as well as the car is not going to be modded to hell, so its all good.
