TSP Rumbler Catback!!

Here is the video of the 1999 Trans Am. The car's only mod before The Rumbler was a TSP air induction lid. The car did a best of 306.7rwhp and 327.4 rwtq before install. After it did 319.6rwhp and 339.7rwtq Here's the graph for that car.

We now have boxes here, and the Rumblers are ready to ship! $225 without tips or $299 with (plus shipping) As always, feel free to call us with any questions you might have or to place your order. The Rumblers are now listed on our website as well for your ordering convenience.

Here is a link to pics and at least one dyno graph!

Thanks!

Brian

That sounds great. I've been looking for a catback, and I think I've found one. Will there be any specials around March or April?

i drive that trans am, and I wish I could bring the car to each and everyone of you. That video does not do it its justice. This is the BEST sounding catback I have heard on an LS1. The deepness of it cannot be heard thru the clip, but let me tell you.....This thing damn sure RUMBLES. This is the cleanest sounding, most non-raspy catback out there. Buy and you wont be disappointed. And hell, talk about affordable. Im glad I waited around for this catback. Thumbs up TSP. Great Catback!!

For those noticing the high pitch sound on the video clip, it more than likely is a squealing belt on my car. The camera used was not of the highest quality.

different in design, and much different in sound. The LM doesnt sound as good as the Rumbler in my opinion. It is much more raspy, and does not have the good clean sound. I will let TSP answer your question with more detail, but no, it is not a LM rip-off.

Looks like the SLP loud mouth, if you have ever seen down the resonator of a loudmouth, you see its just a piece of 4" or 3.5" pipe, inside the walls of the resonater is as smooth as can be, no baffles and ridges whatsoever.. I never seen down a rumblers resonater but there are only so many ways to design a pipe. hehe

there-in lies the difference. The rumbler uses an 18" Bullet Race Muffler, not a resonator. They do differ slightly. The placement of the muffler in the I-Pipe and it's 18" length is what helps the catback to have a much less rasp and deeper tone.

I'd really like to hear a sound clip on a car with long tubes and an oryp. I'm really tempted to replace my Flowmaster with this cat-back if it doesn't get to insanely loud when headers are thrown in the mix.

Umm...looks like a aluminized version of a loudmouth with the ncie tips from the gmmg exhaust. Since i just put my loudmouth on i would assume this would sound just as good. I prolly would of rather had those tips, but i dunno, i'll pay a little bit more and have stainless.

i hear the muffler used in the rumbler is better *no rasp* compared to the loudmouth resonator.

and also, they contribute the better sound to the size/length and placement of the muffler....as i'm pretty sure it is set closer to the y-pipe while the loudmouth, i think, is set farther down the i-pipe.
