So you can supposedly get 20rwhp from a lid? What ever happened to the 10-15?

I have always heard clear lids crack. Has anyone with the TSP lid have any problems with it cracking? Does anyone know what kind of warranty TSP offers?

We offer a one year warranty with the lid as long as you don't drill the lid for nitrous use or abuse it. If it cracks or breaks, let us know and we'll get another one out to you!

Thanks for the link, but for me, power gains on higher HP engines dont always show whats happening to the stock cars.
Reasoning here is that the gain is a percentage based #. The more HP the higher the spread on that. While at 400hp the gain seems substantial, I am wondering how large the gain is at 300hp (well, 315hp hehe)..
Anyways, kewl lid.. I'll test one out when the opportunity arises.
My car is still a baby and doesnt have any mods so its good for tests.. hehe

That definately makes sense. Just like how a MAF isn't crap unless you're pushing over 400 flywheel hp. Back to the topic though, the difference isn't too much on a stock engine, which is where all other brands advertise their gains of 10-15rwhp. Instead of 7rwhp, 2-4 (like what I already said) sounds about right

if you've done all the simple/affordable bolt-ons already and got nowhere else to go (under $300), 2-4 rwhp for $50-75 is great if you can sell your old lid for $50-75 and buy a TSP one for $124.

I understand that the gains might be better with a high HP car. Since however that is where I hope my car will be some day, I decided to go ahead and get the texas lid now rather than later. So I put in my order with Brian a day or two ago.
