Trouble code after ls6 intake install
Decided to scan the z and see what codes were coming up.
Had the regular ones from the emission removal and cam.
But I had a new one...code 0107
It says, manifold absolute pressure/barometric pressure circuit low input.
Whats the deal?
The car runs great and all...so I hope it isnt a manifold leak. hmmmm
I also had one saying something about the o2 sensor...stating it had no change or something, I am guessing this would be from the simulators puting out the same information over and over?
thanks guys

Re: Trouble code after ls6 intake install
Sounds like your MAP sensor might be on the way out. I thinnk I heard something about the '98s having issues with them.
As for the O2, do you remember which bank/sensor it was? If it was B1S1 and/or B2S1, they are what the car uses for fueling and your O2 could be on the way out too. They "switch" or oscilate like a sin wav when feeding data to the computer, so slow changes are a bad sign. If it was B1S2 or B2S2 and you have O2 sims, I wouldn't sweat it.

Re: Trouble code after ls6 intake install
The intake came with a brand new map sensor on it.
The only thing I could think of would maybe be that little tiny vacum line right next to the map sensor. But Im sure I pluged that in because I forgot to and went back and pluged it in...before I even started the car.
What the heck.
