heya guys, quick question. did a search, and did not find what i needed so here goes: My roomie has a 2000 Z28 with an M6, is it possible for him to switch it out for an automatic with OD? if so, what tranny will work, and how can we find the process. (so our mechanic can do it)

Yes he can switch. He will need a 4L60E if he wants factory equipment for that year. He will also need a PCM from an automatic car and a wiring harness. Most people on here with an automatic would trade him for his M6. It is a pretty straigh forward swap as well, just about bolting in and maybe changing some wiring.
