tranny service

I am going to take my car to the dealer to have the transmission serviced. I was going to have the fluid and filter changed, but they also have a thing where they flush out the fluid and replace it. Which one should I have done? I have always done a filter change myself, but the new way the filter doesnt get changed. That just doesnt sound good to me. Any opinions?

It depends on what you want, I guess.

It is good, of course, to change the filter every now and then, too, but if you have changed it not too long ago yourself, I'd just go with the flush.

I've usually had the flush service done every other time and filter change every other.
