my sister has a 2002 z28. when she comes home from work arter she turn off the car she hears a hiss and see smoke coming from behind the tire by the exhuast. it is only on the driver side. any ideas would be a lot of help thanks

 

That's where the fuel filter is mounted. It could be leaking and spraying fuel on the exhaust pipe maybe.

 

i thougt about that but wouldn't smok all the time wile driving? it did not do it till a few seconds after she turned off the car
