Is this Torque Management?

My transmission shifts very firm but at WOT the 1st to 2nd shift feels weird. It is very quick and firm but still feels "weak".

Not sure exactly what you're experiencing...but here's an explanation of TM on '02 cars www.ls1camaro.net/article.php?sid=50 I deleted mine after the TC install.

Re: Is this Torque Management?

I am 100% sure all 98+ F-Bodies do, my LT1's (94&96) didn't seem to have it though.

After reading all I could find on this I am 98% sure this is what I am feeling. My car is like a rocket and you can just anticipate the tires breaking loose into second. But nope it's like I lifted my foot when it shifts. No slip at all.
