The 315 will work perfectly fine on the 17x11, and you will everything about it. The looks, plus the extra bite will be well worth it.

They will work fine but you can only change tires by using the differential housing as a jack point.

ummm, why are you spinning so much? Snow or ice everywhere?

I have 245's and dont spin.. I dont see many mods on your car so I would figure that I make more power..

but ya gotta figure not everyone gets the RIGHT tires or mods..

Too much tire is a bad thing.. The right amount is key!

I have seen 400rwtq on a 245's and it worked very well... so I wont be going to anything bigger until I break that number..

I went about it differently.. I went online and found rims for cheap.. then bought new Nitto Drags and BFG Drags... I now have 3 sets (also bought some ET Streets)..

I suggest you just get a set of track tires and be done with it and enjoy the track performance and run your everyday tires for your everyday tasks...

i was going to do that, but i love the look of these rims, and wanted 17s anyway. 16 IMO have a huge gap in the well...

thx for all opinions

You're getting 8.5's for the front? Do they even make that size?

I know with ZR1's you can get 11's, 9.5s, or 9s.

I've got 11's all the way around. 275's all around too, for the time being. As soon as my 275 DR's go out I'm getting 315s. Not because I need more grip, but just for the look I guess.

But as far as you spinning with 245s, sounds like you need to setup your supsension correctly or learn to drive (no offense).

I know a guy in P'Cola that had a 450hp H/C car with 245 Nitto DRs on the back. He spun a little on the street, but on the strip when he heated those puppies, up, they STUCK.

Maybe you should get 275's instead? Mine are more than enough.
