tick tick tick
I need a little advice. My last car was a 6.6L T/A so I may be talking old school mechanic stuff. I bought my 2000 Z28 6 months ago. I have a lifter/rocker arm tick on the driver side.
It comes and goes. Is there arm rocker arm torque spec for the
roller rockers? I would like to open it up and set them.

I think I have a lifter tick but a exhaust manifold leak would be alot easier to fix. Are LS1's (stock manifolds) prone to exhaust leak? Anyone no the torque spec for the manifolds? Thanks Ron
It can also be caused by leaking gaskets in the A.I.R. fitting right next to the manifolds. They are kind of finicky. Mine are ticking a bit right now, because I disconnected them to swap the plugs. didn't get away with it
. But i've ordered new gaskets for next week. Should fix it right up.

Hey guys thanks for the help. The driver side exhaust manifold had a small leak. I could see black soot on the head around #1 and #3 cyl. That's was alot eaiser to fix then my rocker arm ticking tear down. Thanks for saving me the work. If your in the DFW area "I owe ya"ll a beer"
