Thoughts on the Loudmouth 2

I was about to order the loudmouth from slp, when I came across the loudmouth 2. How does this badboy sound in comparison to the original loudmouth? I dont want too much rasp, so Im leaning towards the loudmouth2 and not the LM. But then again, I dont want it to be too quiet. Any thoughts are appreciated....

Re: Thoughts on the Loudmouth 2

I have loudmouth with lt headers and y-pipe with gutted cats car is very loud sounds great. Does ur car have headers y-pipe and hi flo cats or gutted cats if so lmll will be quieter then LM if u dont want it very loud thats ur best bet but if u have stock y-pipe cats and manifolds i would go with origional LM

I agree. I didn't think the LM was too much with the stock manifolds, cats and y-pipe. I did just get rid of the cats and we'll see how the car sounds over time. I may end up getting a bullet muffler like the one for the LM 2 to quiet things down a tad. Dynomax and Borla are the two I would consider if I didn't get the LM 2 part.

I think when I do headers next year ill switch to a different exhaust, but with stock cats it should sound ok.

Re: Thoughts on the Loudmouth 2

My friend got lm2 on his lt1 trans am. It sounds good, he is still using the stock cat though. Way different than the flowmaster on my car.
