thoughts on camshafts?

wondering what the best cam would be to install in the LS1. I WAS looking at the LS6 setup but I think I can get better HP out of other heads/cam setups. Let me know what you guys think, and if you have a certain setup on your LS1 already.

How extreme do you want to go with the cam? How often do you drive your car and what kind of power range are you aiming for?

Re: thoughts on camshafts?

I drive my car every day. I dont want something TOO extreme but I do want to end up with a real decent HP gain. So PROBABLY something mid-range since I drive it a lot.

TR 224 cam

with bolt ons and stock heads should get you a solid 375rwhp

add some heads and you'll be sitting pretty one 400rwhp.

all that with good street manners and reliability

There is no "best" cam.
