Question Is there still a heater box issue with the newest batch of Jet-Hots?

I know Jet-Hot is now shipping their newest batch of headers. I was wondering if the heater box problem was ever resolved or if Jet-Hot just wants us to live with it. I called them and they said that since it's basically the same design as the Hookers, they really didn't understand how people had heater box issues. I expected them to say it's not going to be a problem, but I'm still wondering if people are experiencing it? How could it happen on some of the headers and not others? Could it be people with little/no experience are installing them wrong? Thanks!

My Jet-Hot's came out of the last batch this past March. I DO have heater box issues. My headers do hit and vibrate on the heater box during deceleration right around 3K RPM's.

I have not had a problem, and mine are from the Feb. GP.

I just got mine put on and I have not heard any bumping out of the headers themselves. My Y-Pipe is torqueing and bumping agaisnt the floor board so my wrench man is gonna redo it. But I have not heard the headers doing anything.

Yeah, heater box. That's what people are calling it anyway. A few people have said that one of the tubes on the passenger side comes too close to the "heater box" and melts it. I've only heard of a few people saying this, so I'm going to assume it's not really much of a problem.

Here's my post about my headers banging the heater box over at ls1.com...there are a few others that have the same issue:
