Question Is there something wrong with my car?

I don't know if this is an indication of a slipping clutch or something else. But sometimes or maybe all of the time when I go from a gear to nuetral the revs go up a bit. They slowely make their way back to idol. What does this mean? Has anyone experienced it before?

It means you probably hve your foot on the gas or your not pushing the clutch far enough to completly disengage.

it will go up because the motor is suddenly under no load..

has nothing to do with your clutch since its no longer engaged..

its called momentum
