Are there ANY prgmrs worth it, or do I need to LS1edit?
Are there ANY prgmrs worth it, or do I need to LS1edit?
Going to be swapping my diff gears soon and am going to need to change the speedo setting for that. On top of that I have the 160* stat but still have the stock fan settings.
A local shop charges over $300 just to get the basic settings in through LS1edit, but for a little more I could get a tool that lets me do it myself. I know the hypertechs are garbage as far as tuning goes, but I know a lot of other programmers were released since then (crane, diablo, pred etc. ). How are they as far as the tuning tables go?
Basically, is it worth it to spend a little extra for a non-hypertech programmer or should I just get a LS1edit "tune" for just the gear ratio and fan settings?

Is the "tune" function on it worth anything, or is it like the hypertech?

If you just want to correct your fans/speedo, you can get that done with a mail order tune. Texas-Speed, LS1 Speed, and MadZ28 are just a few that might be able to help you out with minimal downtime.
