the lid will get you 8-10, the small throttle body will get you maybe 2-5, the MAF will take a couple away, but you'll see some more throttle responce, and the bellows is useless. no gains there.

all that'll get you about 12-15hp. A 92mm throttle body would have gotten you about 15 by itself.

A gigantic throttle body is totally useless without a bigger intake manifold and runners....

People! why do you keep wanting to add TB and MAF when thats not where your power restriction lies?

Lid. .fine..
TB? wake up.. thats only good later. .the stock unit is good enough for now
MAF - more people have had headaches than gaines from it..
Bellows - cosmetic..

so, how much did you spend? You could of gotten a cam with that $ i bet. that would of gained you some real HP and you would be ready to then get an intake, and maybe even a 85mm tb.. depending on cam..

Re: tb, maf, by-pass, lid, bellows?

The stock TB is good upto 600-800hp...P+P'd throttle body is ok. But an 80mm on a stock engine is a waste of money, unless you are going to do some H+C or just valvetrain mods soon after. Otherwise, you're fine w/ the stock TB.

Bellows=worthless....the MAF is ok, worth about 3-8hp....no big flow change unless you are running modded internals...the stock MAF flows fine for upto, again, around 600-800hp...

Lids are a nice improvement over stock...about 5-8hp to be had there.. all in all, about 10-20hp gain over stock...should have gotten soemthing else besides the 80mm TB.....maybe sume suspension mods, they help greatly!

^^^^^ yeah a strut bar or an axle bar (totally forgot what you call those, they stop axle hop ) Is a much better buy than a new TB.

As stated, other than Lid (which you might want to consider other lids), all other mods you listed are waste of money.

LOL Maybe on a bored out blown 427 making 700+ rwhp, a 92mm throttle body on a stock car would probably cut horsepower in half...Stock throttle body is good for around 450-500rwhp. 600-800? not a chance in hell-- unless your redline is 5000rpms or lower...Me personally? I'd send the BBK back-- don't even open the package. If you want a little better throttle response and a few horses, get a ported stock throttle body. That will run between $100-125. I'd also send the MAF back. there's $700 right back in your pocket. use it to get an ls6 intake manifold or a nice cam package.

The 80mm throttle body is larger than the stock 75mm, but because it's not "tapered" you will lose a little down low torque. It will relocate higher up in your powerband.

By the way-- since when was a lid, proven time and again for ~10 rwhp a waste of money? LOL
