tach install help

Hey i have a 99 z-28 and i need help installing my tach i dont know the pin assignments.

Use the one in the dash and a shift light.

tach output on the 99+ cars is pin 10 on the red connector on the ECM, it's a white wire.

side note:
due to the nature of the LS1 ignition, most shift lights have to be run in "4cyl" mode in order to interpret the signal correctly.

i'm presently having problems running my proform shift lite with my ls1...i have to call the company to ask them about it...so just be conscious of that issue.
