I am curious if any others have experienced the following:

The transmission will 'Jump out of first gear' after engagement. The car will begin to move forward slightly, a rather loud bang, then grinding gear sounds. It does not matter if I launch hard or am just moving from a parking spot.

If I down shift through second, into first and use engine breaking, I never have a problem. For example: I rolled to a stop light shifting from third to second then into first. I can launch hard enough to engage traction control and smoke the tires without jumping from gear.

I never have problem when the car is cold, i.e. when I start it in the morning.

The car is under warranty and will be fixed by the dealer, but I wanted some experienced opinions.
