Question T-top shades????

I have A new 2002 WS6 and it didn't come with shades. Do these come standard form factory when the car has T-tops??

I think shades are supposed to come with T-tops. Especially on a top option car like a WS6. Sometimes new cars are shipped with things missing such as: floor mats, keys, keyless entry remotes, t-top shades, etc... You might want to talk to the dealer that sold you the car.

I purchased my car new, and it came with the shades. Go back to the dealer and let them know you did not get yours.

My 2002 Z28 that I just got came with them, don't know if they're standard on the Pontiac but I would think they would be. Check w/your dealer and find out what happened to yours

Cool

I also got them with my car, and I saw them inside a couple other new cars when I was looking for mine, so I'd say they should be standard. HOWEVER, you could have mine if you'd like, cause I never use them!!

I just bought my car (1 month aniversary tomorrow) and it didnt have any options other than Hurst, T-Tops and Leather Steering wheel. So if mine has it, yours should too!! Especially since the pontiacs usually have better standarn base models... (as far as features... 'cause they have to get people to drive them gaudy bastids! hehe:P)

I got 'em, but never use them. But, I'm hanging on to them because in 20 years when I enter a car show, maybe having the original shades will be worth some extra points.

Just curious, but why do you need shades? They're tinted so dark that you hardly notice the sun anyway.

On my last car I used to use the shades for the winter and to darken the car more so people wouldnt have it easy to look in my car which often had laptops or computer parts inside.

Othertimes, if you are going somewhere and your girl doesnt want to get too much sun on her, you throw them on.

So they are good to have.

I'm sorry, but my girl does not dictate what I do with my car!! I don't always drive with the t-tops off with her in the car, cause I know it messes her hair like crazy, but if I want to, "scrunchies" were invented for a reason!

Pentatonic: if you're seriously interested in them, shoot me an e-mail (but it would probably be easier to order them, wouldn't it?! How much are they anyways?? If the dealer wants like $100 for the pair, I could definitely give them to ya a lot cheaper than that!)

Uh, in the summer, the A/C has a hard time keeping up without the shades. Plus, the sun must be brighter down here. So, for the summer, either the tops are out, or the shades are in.
