I'm new to the LSX engines guys but I'd like to do a build up soon on an LQ4 block bored and with L92's on top. There is so much cam info if you do a search that it can be confusing and often times the place where some cams can be bought and researched aren't mentioned. Would some of you mind taking the time to educate me on some of the finer grinds? I would also like to know where they can be located, sellers, manufacturers, websites, etc, etc, etc. thanx

I'd do a custom cam from Futral Motorsports
www.futralmotorsports.com

One of their shelf grinds that would work nicely in that buildup (what size stroker motor? 402?) is their F-15 camshaft.

+1 on a cam from Futral. (225) 791-9593, ask for John(he'll answer the phone anyway).

Futral's off the shelf cams have a good rep but the cam needs to match the way the heads flow. Usually your head porter will recommend a cam or you can do a search to see peoples results. Your final drive ratio is also a consideration. What gears are you going to run?

Well since the thread was started by mentioning the TREX I will chime in! Please fell free to call me and I will be glad to help you clear some of the cloudiness in your head. We have a wide range of camshafts that fit numerous combinations, from mild to wild. FYI, the TREX would be considered wild!
