No mid 12s is about right on a 430 supercharged LS1 ... the operative word being traction, they generally have a hell of time grabing traction consistantly. You may see the occasional 11 second run, but for the most part they're spinning all over the place ...

Sorry i didn't list the other mods

I had the heads ported and polished
comp 216,216,.538,.538,114lsa cam
hooker lt's
SLP y-pipe
corsa cat-back
1.7 roller rockers
4.11's

As for traction i do have slickls that i run when im at the track.
I agree 8 grand is alot to spend at one time but understand thia is where ever red cent that i make goes. I don't spend money on anything other than my car (hey maybe thats why i can't keep a g/f)

How many pounds of boost are you running and why when you were in there didn't you do any mods to lower your compression or save your engine?

well if you had the whole engine done with forged internals and lower comprression pistons run much more boost man if you did it right with the s trim you should be able to get some good boost out of that thing!

The compression was lowered to 9.1:1 not sure how much that is over stock. Pistons and rods are forged (not any name brand). I was told that 9 pounds is good for now seeing as my car is a daily driver

Im trying to figure out how you have Long tubes with an SLP Y-pipe.

If you have forged pieces its goin to be a namebrand. you cant walk in to an autozone and order forged pieces for a ls1.

Im completely confused now that i look at your mods.

Did you say you have an Auburn differential in a 9" 12 bolt? You sure about that?

What brand of rockers do you have?

Yea bud, your numbers are relatively low when you consider the amount of boost (9lbs) with a 9.1:1 CR. I also agree that you cannot run a SLP Y-pipe with LT's...

How can you run 9psi and only make 430rw...

Any good pair of heads on a stock shortblock with a small cam (224/230) will make over 425rwhp... for about $2300...
more cam.. 440-460rwhp... still cheap...
