Hi.........posted on ls1 also about this....anyone know the difference between the new super synthetic mobil one and the regular synthetic? I got the super synthetic for my first oil change...even though it was twice as much.

 

Same here I paid $5 a quart for it but don't know what is so great about it. Maybe its just a scam to screw over people like me and you.

 

I'm pretty sure that it is optimized for higher mileage engines............

But hey, I'm using it and my WS6 has 2000 miles lol.

 

10/30 Mobile is great for the LS1 IMHO. The high mileage stuff is marketing BS. I got a 5qt bottle at Wal-Mart for 17.88. I can do a full oil change with synthetic Mobile for about $25.00. Check Wal-Mart.

 

I agree, Wal Mart or CostCo have great prices on Mobil 1. I run it in my Camaro and Expedition.
