Suggestions for Mods

Now that I'm getting a 1999 Z28 very soon I need suggestions for modifications. It alredy has flows with 4"tips, so I guessing that only refers to the muffler and tailpipes. I don't want any stereo mods, thats the last thing on my mind. We are talking all performace, no looks either.

Here's a short list of what I was thinking to get:
Skip shift eliminator
electric exhaust cutout
Eibach pro-line springs
Bilstein shocks
Stealth induction system
MAF meter

Thats mostly it. Any other suggestions?

Thanks

The list of possible mods goes on and on..

LS6 intake
headers
ory or cats
SFCs
LCAs
ported TB
oh and all the freebies

you can just about take your pick because if you are like most of us you are going to end up with just about everything done sooner or later.

Oh and then you can always go with cam and heads for some real power..

Are you about to buy this car? You say it already has 4 inch tips. I'd get rid of those for starters unless you like the truck/rice look. All those do is attract cops and make everyone else on the street think your an idiot. 4 inch tips aren't helping your performance. Next get a lid and a cold air induction(CAI) set up. The Supersuckers my favorite(CAI). Skip the "skip shift eliminator". After driving it for a day this will not be a problem for you. In first gear just bring the rpms up a little higher and you won't have a problem with the car shifting into 4th. Next get a set of good long tube headers.

The aftermarket added up to well over 17,000, mostly stereo and a body kit. He said I could have it for 16,600.

I've seen Flows on a Camaro and it looks pretty crappy. What exhaust kit would you suggest? I was looking at Borla, but I really don't like the adjustable feature of it, unless...is it possible to put an electric exhaust cutout where you would normally put the plate? That way you wouldn't have to get out and under the car to open up that side.

What do you guys think of the Corsa cat-back system. Sounds really nice from the sound clips. Borla and Corsa is what I have to choose from.

And the Y-Pipe, what brand would you suggest? I had my eye on Bassani. Gotta have cats. Also, will the y-pipe affect the sound of the exhaust by much? I want to get a good sounding cat-back system but dont wanna mess the sound up with the y-pipe. I'm gonna leave on the stock headers for now. Are there any combinations of cat-back and y-pipe that you would reccomend? Thanks guys!

generally mods don't add to the value, when people put cam and stuff in you know they beat on the car. If anything I'd pay less for a modded car.

What kind of performance are you talking about?
Performance at the 1/4 mile track or performance on an auto X track?

That'll help us help you a little more

All street, I bet I will never go to the track or strip. I just want some good looks and power for when I feel like giving it some gas.

Here is another question; Will a new y-pipe affect the sound made by the cat back system? I want to get both and dont wanna mess up the sound with a new y-pipe.

What y-pipe would ya'll suggest for a z28 with lets say Corsa cat back? Thanks alot!
