Street Legal LTs?
Street Legal LTs?
I am already planning mods for my future LS1
Anyways, are there any long tube headers that have all the necasary O2 fittings and all that crap? Will the cats still fit? I know they will not stay in the stock location, but can i keep them on? And will a catback have to be modified if the cats are moved? I am only concerned with the sniffer test. When I have taken cars to be inspected they have never actually looked under the car. Just put it on a dyno, stick the sensor in the pipe and thats it.
Any help is appreciated.

Most if not all LT's have the O2 bungs, egr fitteing and a.i.r. fittings built in. You can always add cats to the y pipe, or to the true duals if you go that route. BUT they will not be legal even with all of the emissions stuff in place. LT's move the cats back, and that is a violation of smog laws. The cats cannot be moved from their stock locations, and because of this only shorty headers are smog legal.
