Stock tailpiping for dual duals?
 

I'm planning to put a dynomax super turbo on a 2001 V6 camaro convertible with the SLP dual dual tips. I'm missing the tailpiping. Approximately how long should it be? I want it pretty visible or at least like the stock length on a SS. Or should I just go to the muffler shop and see what they got? Thanks

OK, now I have another question. My stock setup is the single outlet muffler. I would need an additional hanger for the second pipe on my new setup correct? I assume the muffler shop would drill in the right place, but is there any parts I should warn them about? Thanks.

Changing from a stock muffler to a dual tailpipe setup is easy, you can use the orig. hanger on the driver's side - there's no addistional hanger on the passenger side. The super turbo muffler sounds pretty good on the V6 - we have it installed on my wife's Camaro. Our Dynomax has two outlets on the driver's side.

When I tried to find a muffler shop to get it installed I was told it would be about 100 bucks plus tailpipes - forget that ! Go to ebay and buy a flux core wire welder (no gas required) and build your own setup, I only paid 180 $ incl shipping for mine and I used it a lot. Once you figured the welder out you might want to change your tips from time to time...:D
