Bought '99 Z28 used from a dealer with st headers , I've seen a few conflicting posts and though I'd ask.

 

Well the 99s have a tube type manifold if thats what your thinking are the stock headers.Very ulike the cast iron manifolds normally seen. But headers?may resemble some butt ugly shortys but I'm not buyin it .I could be mistaken but I dont think they classify as headers.

 

Went out and looked again, they are short tube headers. On one of the lower tubes it has a Hooker Headers label with a CARB #. What your talkin about is probly what I was reading. Thanks for the info. Now to find a ORY that fits...
