So with that said....That means if I was to go with the lower airbox and lid from an LS1 then and ssra would work as well?????Thats why I am asking....

assuming you are trying to put the ssra on an lt1 car....sounds like you have it correct

just make sure the hood has clearance for the lid....i think the TA ramair hoodss and the ultra-Z hood are the compatable pieces

 

Yeah wrong button.....LOL.....Yeah I have a ram air hood so hopefully it will fit ....as soon as I get a air box other than ws6 car ....got a good deal on one.....not know they were raised......Oh well....
