the first time? nah... the 50th and so on get real good cause you get more and more comfy with it..
and then you start to really exploit what it can do..

then you start to get the grins bad... like running 140+ = big grin
or like taking sharp and fast hard turns in my dead parking lot = big grin! hehe

Guys another question

Read this and tell me what this guy talking about LS6 block? Arent they same based on LS1?

LS6 Block Camaro
I have the LS6 block.. its kewl to know.. thats about it.. it does put less work on the motor which should translate to some marginal HP..
Looking inside that car in the pics, looks like he didnt opt for the Hurst Shifter which I think was a good option..

Also looks like he has a gmmg exhaust... the mufflers look dimpled...

Omega, you will love the day you take home your camaro. I remember when I first saw my black ss, m6, t-tops, ss grill and heard it start up, I was sold. I traveled 2.5 hours for the car, and when I officially gave the cashiers check to the individual I was like . When I drove it home I could not believe I actually had my very own ss, like many of the people on the board. Save up every penny, because the feeling of owning an LS1 is utterly amazing.

My former car was a peg leg 3.08 gear ratio 3.8l Camaro. On the way home after I bought the SS; I was afraid to floor it.

same when i got mine...i had a 94 Z before my 98....the 94 was torquey as lt1s are but when i drove my LS1 off the lot and got on it i got this feeling like i was being sucked forward as the motor charged on the top end.....needless to say....i was hooked.

That's funny................I usually feel like I'm being pushed BACK into the seat? Maybe my car is messed up?!

Yeah Omega, the first drive with the car is sorta cool..........I just remember thinking to myself "I'm retarded, I shouldn't have spent this much money on a car, but F*** it!!!".........and I haven't regretted it since.

BTW, Psycho, what do you mean the car isn't fun 'til the 50th drive?! Hell, on my 2nd day I took it up over 100 mph getting on the highway! My last car was a 2.2L Sunfire, so I forgot that I didn't need to completely floor the gas to get upto highway speed!!!!

nah i meant the car felt like it was being sucked forward....like instead of the torque PUSHING the car, the high end felt like it was PULLING it...hard to explain, all i know is it was movin!

I have a z28, love it of course. However i really wish I had an SS just to say i had an SS!!!! As far as performance, i'm stock with the exception of zo6 wheels. I have beat so many cars in my area though so i'm happy.
