Spark Plugs... worth the hype?

Since almost everything else discussed here is performance oriented, what about the plugs? Best, worst, stock o.k.?

Depends on what your doing with the car. Normal street duty? Drag racing? Auto x-ing? Motor.... Stock, mild bolt-ons, heads/ cam?

Your intended use will dictate which plug you should run.

I dont see why stock plugs (arent they plat tipped?) wouldnt do any better than any other plug for your daily driver.. Sure if you go to boost and spray you will need different temp plugs and whatnot.. but for just a stock car? I dont see plugs giving you anything more than others.. When I eventually do change out mine (many many moons from now) I will use Bosch Plats.. just cause I like them... Not those double or quads either..just standard single electrode bosch plats.

For what its worth, my WS6 friend got some of those multiple electrode plugs and hated them. The multis didnt get hot enough to ignite as well as his stock plugs. IMO, those plugs seem better suited for 6 and 4 bangers.
