Something wrong with my dyno #s?

Something wrong with my dyno #s? Everytime I see someone post new #'s they all have at least 20 more rwtq than hp, yet I only got about 7 more. Why could that be? Is that a problem with my car you think? I need to find out because I'm worried.

Nate

P.S. Dyno #'s in Sig.

you really don't have many "significant" mods other than a lid.. Get a cutout and you'll notice a dramatic increase.. LS1's love to breathe...

yes i agree...and also every car is different so u cant just go by dyno numbers...dyno numbers are just peak hp which in reality doesnt tell you how fast your car will be....there have been cars that dyno really low and run 11s...and cars that dyno high and run 12s.....

Nah man,the numbers being that close is normal. You really need to open up the exhaust like everyone is saying.I originally dyno'd 275/275 bone stock.
Kevin

Edit:
My dyno now is 299/314 and the mods are:
-Dynomax cat-back
-SLP lid
-SLP MAF ends
-Free mods

Considering your mods and you having an a4 I think those dyno numbers are right on track. It is nothing to worry about just work on opening up the breathing of the car and you should be fine.

Those numbers look fine, like they said you dont really have any major mods, the lid being the highest, a catback system would help out also!

I'm starting to think the numbers AREN'T ok. There's a post over on LS1tech with everyone posting their #'s... granted I can't compare mine to 2001 and newer, or to the M6's, but there are a few that are equeally equiped... one's running 297hp and 327tq. That's about 30 more torque than mine. It's a 98Z, auto, lid and free mods. I don't know guys, I'm just thinkin that my torque is at least 20 too low
