So what do you guys think?

So my friend is thinking about buying this engine from the guy who is currently working on his car. I don't know to much about LS1s since I own a LT1 but I would really appreciate the opinion of you guys. He is selling it for $3500 but my friend already talked him down to 3200
The motor is from this car
AutoStream | CamaroZ28.com

This is the mod list from what my friend was told aluminum valve relief pistons, forged crank, forged rods, 232/236 .575 .578 lift with 112 LSA

Price sounds about right but then again, how hard was that engine ran and for how long?

The engine was ran hard for a while the reason why he pulled the engine was to freshen it up but something came up and he needs the money so he decided to sell it. I already talked to my friend about trying to get some kind of guarantee for a couple of months even though my friend is not going to be racing very often

Re: So what do you guys think?

Got a better listing of what parts are in it?

short or long block (guessing long block). ported stock heads or aftermarket?

If it truly is a forged crank build, it might be ok. but then why not go bigger cubes.

If its just a stock crank build, then meh....

My new shortblock (stock crank) was about 2800 on a GP. add 1K for the dart heads (sale at the time) and no core; I did ok.
