Smallest tire?

whats the smallest tire you can put on a 17x9.5 rim? i want 255 in front, but think its too big, im getting ZR1 17x9.5 all around.. anyone know? i rly dont want to unless have to put 275 all around

You can have 245's on a 9" inch rim. I don't know why you'd do an oddball like 255's

Then again, why not do 275s? You car will appreciate it

i was thinking about 275 all around, im getting 275/40/17 nittos in back, what for front? jsut any tire?

Might as well have Nitto's all around. I have 275 DR's in the back, and the 555 Street tire up front. Great combo.

I've seen a few F-Bods with 245s up front and 275s or bigger out back. I love the way it looks like that. Honestly I don't see any real reason to have huge tires up front A bigger tire up front increases roll resistance, right?

True, there will be more friction, but have you seen a car with 275s up front? It fills the car out so nicely, I don't know why anyone wouldn't do it. I had narrow tires on my TA when I first got it, and it just didn't look right
