Sorry of this is a re-post, but does anyone know how I can find out what Exactly my car came with from the factory? I'm the second owner and I don't know which, if any SLP options it came with. Soooooo.... trying to find that out. It has an SLP sticker under the hood, so I'm assuming that it has ssssomething. Thanks guys!

 

Well this used to be very easy when SLP had a message board, but they decided to shut it down and leave people in the dark SLP still has a site up you could go there and try to find a email address for a staff member and give them your vin and they should be able to help you out. Or you could try another board and check the Camaro sections, i've seen this question answred on them b-4 good luck

There should be a sticker on the right hand door or door frame with SLP add ons. Don't be surprized if there aren't any additional items as a lot of them were built for the dealers stock with no SLP content.

 

mine has some SLP options and it has a sticker listing them on my passenger door.not all SSs had SLP options.y2y was the SLP option code.

 

SS cars were made and born on the GM assembly line. If the dealer or buyer wanted additional SLP options installed, the car was sent to SLPs manufacturing facility in St Therese, Quebec. It was about 10 miles away from the GM manufacturing facility from what I understand.

Upon SLP completing its installation of SLP options, it was returned to GM for shipment in the normal GM transportation pipeline.

SLP options, if any were installed, are reflected on the SLP sticker on the passenger door. Keep in mind, not every SS make its way to SLP. Only if SLP options were ordered.
