Mine sounded deeper and gained volume. I didn't notice a power difference. Then I got headers. .... ..... That was the look on my face as I moved through the rpm range.

I have that set up...

I have a 98 SS with loudmouth, !cats, lid and run at 109mph in the 1/4.

Here is a clip so you can hear the sound:

Loud Mouths are exactly that...loud. Well, loud is usally GOOD when it comes to a high performance car, but the problem is, at least with an A4, is that you get severe drone at cruise speeds. It's a dull roar that a.) doesn't sound cool, b.) annoys any female partner you may have riding with you; and c.) makes you turn up your sound system so high you get a bad headache whenever cruising the interstate. Again, I like loud cars, but not while driving 75 mph for six hours. I found a better alternative is the Corsa Exhaust System. Quiet at cruise, yet loud when you put the hammer down. Good luck! Dan

Well i had the offroad setup for a while and with headers, prostock loud is the word. I noticed a loss at the bottom but at the top of first you will start to break loose I wouldn't recommend no cats and loud mouth if you plan on street racing cause you can be heard for at least two miles. Interior resonance is actually very low, no drone just a little growl. You can even have a conversation because all the noise is coming from your a**. I bought the cats gained a little at the bottom lost a little at the top but evened out in time still. It is still loud as he** when you nail it. I kinda miss being the loudest car around I think I am going to pull the cats back off.

You'll lose a lil bit on low end, but that doesnt really matter- what you gain overall from the LT/ORY combo is greeeaaat. I have that setup plus the LM on my car....the rasp is horrid, and the highway drone takes some getting use to, but hey- my 2002 Z put down 345/367 after those mods Now all I need is a tune-it runs rich.
