Talking Slp loudmouth and Long Tubes

All i can say is wow, Got the headers on last weekend, drove it around all this week, took it in to an exhaust shop, payed them 100 bucks and they made me the Y pipe 3". It sounds great. Kinda funny, it is quieter on regular driving then it was befor, but when you hit it its over. It sounds like a muscle car should. I admit its not for everyone, but if ya like it loud go with this setup.

Thats all I needed to hear man, Im getting them with my tax money. Found them at You didn't get the hint the first time. for 700 (headers) exhaust is 328 I can get it for 315 but whats 11 dollars? Ive heard it will sound like a monster. I was gonna get Hooker LT's but they dont come with the Y-pipe and after you buy it its more expensive then the slp setup is.

i have the same thing.....raspy yea but nowhere near as much as a true loudmouth. Sounds incredible to me....same insane volume with a litte more LS1-like moan and a little less open header big block rasp.

its funny, people used to look at me weird back when i did this setup, now i see a post about it every week....enjoy it, its not for everyone but nobody will mistake it for just another LS1....sounds like an F-18 when ya get on it...

Well I also have a really nasty cam and that probably contributes to the rasp... However, the drone is bad and it seems to echo in the cabin. I can't even listen to the radio, or talk normally while cruising.
