I got my SLP Loudmouth via UPS and took it right to an exhaust shop to get it installed. Their just about done and they go to put the tips on... They sent me 2 left tips So right now I have 2 left tips on my car instead of one of each. I was told that if they didn't put the tips on the heat would burn my ground effects. I emailed the place I ordered them from earlier today and didn't get a response yet. I am highly pissed off So I have to drive around like that for who knows how long.

My overall opinion of the Loudmouth: GREAT sound, not too loud at all... but right around 2k rpm my car feels like it's about to fall apart I know that is normal and expected it. It really doesn't bother me, but I'm just worried that it will cause the normal "F-Body rattles" to start sooner. Other than that I am happy with it.

One question. The exhaust place said that they will put their tips on there on Monday if I wanted them to. Should I stick with the SLP dual/dual tips or go with theirs (theirs were the big rectangular ones)? I think they both look good, but I think the rectangular ones would look better on the Trans Am... What do you guys think? Changing the tips will not have any effect on the exhaust would it?

I have thje duel tips and I think the large 3" round ones look better and more muscular

 

I have the 3.5 slash cuts and they look great but fbodys with ground efx like the t/a's have to have dual/dual to fill the gap. Buy some borla tips they look good

 

I would go with whatever the shop has. The SLP tips leave much to be desired.
