if you plan on leaving it stock, yeah, the loud mouth would work fine... but if you're gonna go and start adding headers and shiet to your car... the loud mouth is gonna be TOO loud... then you're gonna wanna probably go with borla or dynomax or probably the hooker catback that one of my friends has that sounds dope as hell.

Loudmouth was great sounding untill I heard the Dynomouth... LM is really raspy where the DM is cleaner sounding and the loudness is controlled by the Throttle.. Idle is a deep throaty rumble and @ 3 K rpms and above screams like a banshee... Plus w/ ORY and LT Headers w/ not cats, it sounds even more agressive.. I just love the sound and I used the 24219 Muffler (18") because I wanted it to have a mellow sound and plus I am going to be getting some LT header and ORY, so I don't want the raspy sound...

Unhappy

I want to get a Loudmouth with dual/dual tips real bad but SLP want $240 just to ship one to the UK!! On top of that I'l have to pay customs duty - ouch!

Any ideas of how I can get one to the UK cheaper? At this rate I'll be getting a budget flight to NY and bringing it home myself!

Thanks

Gary

Buy a Dynomax Bullet from jeg's or Summit and the tips from SLP, and have the big parts fabbed locally. SLP may even sell the resinantor seperatly. 90% of your stock exhaust could be reused. You would have the meanest sounding machine in the UK.

Like dj haf said above, if your gonna leave your car pretty much stock and have no major mods in mind the loud mouth is definatly the way to gain one hell of a nice rumble and some hp. However certain mods turn the Loud Mouths sound to garbage real quick. SLP designed the LM to sound good on Bolt on 8 cyl cars.

Now all they gotta do is come up with a exhaust even half as potent for 6 cyl.

Im also thinking of getting the Loudmouth only Ill be getting long tubes at the same time. Does the combination kind of mellow out at highway speeds or will I need to take a bottle of asprin after a few hours of it?
