SLP Lid Question

Currently I have a stock lid assembly with a K&N filter. I'm looking to buy an SLP lid, but I have a question concerning the combatability with the K&N filter. Specifically, will I need to buy a new gasket to make a good seal with the K&N filter?

Thanks!

Re: SLP Lid Question

I don't think you'll need a new gasket. A friend of mine has a K&N + SLP lid and he doesn't use one. Seals up just fine.

Re: SLP Lid Question

The K&N came with a gasket IIRC. I just used some foam rubber with an adhesive side that you can buy from any hardware store. It can't hurt, and why risk it?
