SLP or HOOKER long tube headers? + Hotchkis SFC???
Couple important questions here....
First, which headers are better for my car? Hooker or SLP? I want the best for my car. I have a GMMG Chambered Cat-Back Exhaust system so if I go with HOOKER, which Y-Pipe should I go with, Hooker or Mufflex?
Will both LT Headers + Y Pipes go fine with my GMMG Cat-back?
Also I'm buying Hotchkis SFCs soon, before I buy headers, will that be a problem when I want to install my headers? Should I wait till after I buy headers?

Headers seem to be quite subjective. You'll find a story to support nearly any long tube header as being best, and conversely, there's always someone who has had poor results with each brand.
If you go over to ls1tech.com and search the external engine forum, you'll find all the subjective info you want. If there was a best, I think a slim majority would point to the QTP (Quick Time Performance) Headers, formerly Grotts headers. But again, that is a very broad generalization. SLP's are notorious for hanging low, but the quality seems to be fine. FLP's are notorious for tucking up under the car, but some have issues with them banging on the underside. Go with your gut, read the opinions and take them with a grain of salt. I've been reading the opinions for a long time now and am leaning toward the SLP's, but that could change. You're not going to come off significantly better or worse no matter which you choose.
Go ahead with the 2 point sfc.
